I know she'd be happier if he left them on, but I don't know how to get him to do that. dad doesnt like lights either but loves happy bright things, ibought him a bright red i survived ivan the terrible tshirt and i had to fight him to get him to let me wash it, i also have some ceramic mugs that have happy or sleepy faces on it, and bowls too, since daddy still manages to balance his tray on his lap, he loves the faces on hte bowls but the colors too, bright blue, medium yellow, sea green, and a dark rose color, and our kitchen is snowmen year round, and all my dishes have snoxman on them he loves them too, he likes thier smiles. i have alos put upp more of his child hood meemories up for him and htat seems to cheer him up, as he doesnt remember recent past but thrives on whe he was a kid, or when i was a baby, so i have filled his room wtih those type of htings to help him remember it. glad you liked the hints in this article and keep up the bright spirits. too, hugs, sharon m a smile a day keeps the meanies away!!! laughter is a breath of fresh air!
