Guest guest
Hi All - Dave 's review of dosing of LDN was most helpful . I got my prescription almost 1 1/2 years ago from Dr Bihari himself and at the time 4.5 was the dose that he was prescribing. I'm one of those whose MS definitely worsened after being on LDN. For a long time I knew that my condition was worsening but I was in a state of denial, and it certainly didn't occur to me to experiment with the dose. Interestingly, I stayed with it because it helped my mood. I now take about 3. mg. (mixed from Revia and water). I'm wondering now if there's a chance of getting back to where I was before LDN. Thanks again Dave, what you said was definitely food for thought. ( I personally know of two fellow MSers who stopped taking LDN (both tried it at the 4.5 dosing) ) because they didn't notice any improvement in their symptoms. Guest guest
Hi , You probably already know this, but LDN is meant to stop or slow the progress of MS, not necessarily reduce symptoms. Any symptom relief you get is kind of a bonus. Maybe the last 2 -3 months of onset gets reversed, but anything more is mostly a matter of luck. I do know that even a slight change is dosage can have an effect quite out of proportion with the change in consumption. I have been on LDN now for well over a year, and it has given me amazing results. So hang in there - LDN doesn't help everybody, but it sure is worth it if you can get it to work. Good luck and God Bless, Tom from Edmonton -- [low dose naltrexone] Thank you to Dave Hi All - Dave 's review of dosing of LDN was most helpful .
