Based on what I have heard and read from others on this board, if you are experiencing die off symptoms (which it sounds like you are) then you might want to consider giving the kids activated charcoal. This mops of the loose toxins and helps them get thru die off more comfortably. I just ordered some for my son from Vitacost...getting ready to tackle yeast here.

I vote the Nizoral. The worst die-off my now 16 year old ever got was from a prescription anti-fungal. Apparently most of these things were recently started, so a compounded die-off effect is what it looks like. I vote to lower or skip something for a temporary while to give their bodies a chance to rid the excess toxins.

My boys have been on the virastop protocol for one month, OLE for two weeks, Lysine for several days. They are both acting strangely. One boy is really jumpy and just not his usual happy self. The other is not as social as he normally is and is very much aimlessly all over the place. He threw up last night. I have also started them on nizoral last week. Thanks, Heidi! I hope that is what it is. I am wondering about taking out lysine. That is the newest introduction. But I do remember that at one week after starting nystatin, threw up six times and laid around all day. Garrett also laid around and did not eat. Then maybe one or two days later, they started using their first ever sign "more" They still sign the one sign to tell me they want something. When I give activated charcoal when they feel like this, they throw it all up and it is a horrible black throw up that is hard to clean. I have to open all capsules and supplements up and sprinkle in their drinks. So, they had the charcoal sprinkled into their water and a few drops of stevia.
