Oh Jim, I am sooooooo sorry to hear that. I was so hoping for some good news

for you. I, like Kris, have had my pity party, but I had my chance to get

over it and get on with my life. I have a friend that is 81 and in her entire

life the only surgeries she has ever had is a small biopsy on her breast, like

mine, and a small surgery on her foot recently. She said she felt like such

a baby because here I was bringing her meals while she had her foot up, but

she was 81. She is such a sweetheart anyway. She has a hard time with all the

surgeries I have had, and she has been by my side through a lot of them, as

we have been friends for 18 years. I have gone through a lot during that time

and she always has a hard time for me. She has a harder time than I do I

think. She is always there for me though. Just don't show her a open wound or

scar. She is squeamish. I get a laugh, because I am not squeamish in the

slightest. She couldn't even look at her own foot when they were taking out the

stitches. Wouldn't do for her to be like you or me or anyone of us on this

board.

We have all had our share of problems, some just more than others, and I

think you are overdoing it on your share. I hope they at least put a woundvac

on

you this next time around. That makes healing so much better. I swear by them.

have to be up early in the morning to get my child to school and be across

town at therapy at 8:30.

Hope you can get some rest tonight. Hope your birthday turned out reasonable

at least.
