Guest guest
Hi - Wow, it does sound like you were very close to what what happened. It is odd how your trip was planned some time ago. So very glad you are safe. We, too, are feeling the effects from today. Wishing there was some way we could help, for now, know you are in our prayers. I have often wondered how you and your mom are getting along. Thank you for writing and for the update. Don't know of any single American girls, well, that are nice that is. :-)) Take care - Hugs from across the pond- Sandie and -- Re: To Our Friends in England > Dear Friends- > > Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this > time. > > Many hugs and prayers- > > Sandie and > Hi Sandie /. Thanks for your msg to us brits . Strangley enough my mam as been talking about her days as a young girl etc and places were she use to go. So last month i booked a cheap day return flight to london. i live in the north of england. to take some photos of her old school , house etc to put on her wall at the hospital. Today i went .i was on the train from the airport to central london when the bombs went off .A doctor sat next to me had her 15year old daughter waiting for her .she used my mobile phone to try and contact her but was unable too.We were unable to reach central London as all transport was stopped. The return trains to the airport were stopped also, while the airport train station was searched.Luckily i managed to get a bus back there.i am now back in my home town.Seems like i will have to go back another time to take the photos though. thanks for the message. take care both of you. and don't forget, if you find any nice single american girls send them my way! john uk Welcome to LBDcaregivers.
