Guest guest Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Well.. the kids went back to pre school today hurray! We lost power on thur PM, and it didn't come back on til 1PM Sunday! Thank God for wood burning stoves-- we heated water for " baths " , put all the refrig stuff on the deck hidden in the snow it stayed cold, barbqued amongst the icecicles , read by headlights... and survived quite nicely. But Electricity is a God send! The group is moving down the end of April and will live in the house next to me...maybe now I can escape and come to CA to see Dr.K I don't know if that's a vaca or not! lol Enjoy your time, safe travels. I came up to visit the quads for their 4th and spend 2 weeks playing with them. The weather has other plans! We got over 15 inches of snow today, and more is scheduled for the 2nd half of this nor'easter. This is the kids winter vacation.. ha... we are cooped up inside and getting in each others way! 7 of us in 2000sq feet is close! But is it ever beautiful! The plowman came 2x today. We went nowhere.
