Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who responded to my question about Parkinson's Disease symptoms and LBD. I printed out your responses, and will also share them with some of the physical therapists at the nursing home. We've been talking about these issues. I'll try the verbal message, " Move your legs, " or " Step out, " to see if that works with my husband's freezing. That's really interesting. It seems several of us have LOs who were on Sinemet for PD, and it made worse the cognitive problems of LBD. My husband had his most vivid and violent hallucinations when on Sinemet, though they continued for months after he was taken off. At this point he hasn't had any in several months. They were often involved with war, shooting, and even Hitler. If Sinemet helps those with primarily PD symptoms though, then great. Thanks again for your collective wisdom.
