Where are you located in Canada? I get my mom's LDN in Toronto, if that helps.> > Hi Everyone!> > > > Looking for ideas from you all.> > > > Does anyone know, have experience or have any suggestions how you > would > > ship LDN from a person in the U.S. to another person in Canada in > order > > to get through customs?> > > > Many Thanks,> > Barbara

I have learned from bad experience to avoid DHL at all costs (and

presumably other such companies). For eight years now I have been

buying my vitamins/antioxidants on the internet from the US and having

them shipped over here (Australia). Never had a problem with

(Australian) Customs when using US Post but when the online store

changed to using DHL my next two deliveries copped horrendous import

duties and charges - well over half the cost of the goods!!! eg. $157

customs ripoff, sorry fees, on a $290 order........ :-(

From what I found out it seems that using DHL I would always be hit

with such charges so now I have my vitamins/antioxidants shipped to

friends in the US (free ground delivery anyway in the US for the amount

I order) and they then send them on to me using just US Post. Have now

had several lots delivered that way since the DHL debacle with no

problems or Customs charges. :-)

A company who handles shipping of goods all around the world using their

own planes etc.. From my experience (and Joanne's too it would seem) it

is far preferable to just use normal US Post to send stuff to other

countries as that method seems far less likely to attract customs charges.

DHL is the old AIRBORNE currier/package

service that went out of business a few years back. From personal experience,

I have had far less issues with the U.S. mail going and foreign mail coming in

from a customs standpoint than with anything else whether it be UPS, FEDX, DHL,

etc…
