Guest guest Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 So as I just told Vicki,, My sis and I went to Delano on Thursday to see Dr K. He said that the plan the Bariatric specialist at Kaiser made for her was good. However, he thought they were over complicating things and will send them his recommendations. He also gave her a shot of vitamin A before we left! That was awesome...especially since I didn't need one! *lol* Once again I was surprised by Dr K's take on my situation. He really thinks I should have the DS tweeked. Of course that would mean I would have to get reapproved for the DS all over again, which at kaiser means lots of appeals, and then deal with recovery all over again. Being so far out...I just don't know if I could do that again.Anyhow, he is sending my PCP all the info and I will continue to contimplate it! For him, it is really about the diabetes. He thinks that going back in would kick it. Thought I'd just let you all know what I had been up to.
