Guest guest
[low dose naltrexone] My doctor in SLT, UT gave me LDN I asked the pharmacist about the liquid method with self preparation, and he only said he was not sure of the stability of the drug. Cansomeone knowledgable comment on that? Thanks. After one day, I am very pleased with LDN. , This was posted some time back by one of our members. See if she remembers? And here is a link for you. I'm sure others will reply as well. (Two posts together.) Have a Great Day, Jim http://goodshape.net/HomemadeLDN.htmlGoodShape's dry powder instructions GoodShape, this is what I Posted last Februrary>Thu Jan 29 19:18:05 2004 On August 1, 2002 I posted as to how I was scooping 3mg doses of LDN from pulverized "ReVia" 50mg Naltrexone tablets by measuring the powder with a button glued to a thin spatula blade. Most of the emails I received stated they were having a hard time finding that specific button and I have been saying I would look for a better measurer - well here is one that is a bit better: There is a chain of stores called JoAnn Fabric and Crafts. In those stores are a section with a rack of craft Beads. Most of the bead packets on the rack are made by "Darice Craft Designer". There are numerous sizes and colors but the size I bought was "CRAFT BEADS 7MM WEE PONY" 59cents. If this bead is superglued to end of a thin spatula, knife blade or flat toothpick it becomes a good measuring spoon for powdered "ReVia" Naltrexone tablets. I have measured scoops of "ReVia" powder with my 1mg electronic scale and determined that a scoop that leaves the edges of the bead visable contains 3mg of Naltrexone and a moderate heaping scoop that covers the bead edges contains 4.5mg of Naltrexone. It is virtually impossible to make a heaping scoopful that reaches 5mg - in fact I can't do it. I have been taking Homemade Naltrexone just for general health maintenance for 6 months now and have used this method to quarantee freshness of each dose. Before I go to bed, I take one scoop of "ReVia" Naltrexone powder and put it in a 1oz jar with water, shake it up, drink it and chase it down with a little more water. No worry about "Fast Release Fillers" - My Naltrexone is working from the time it hits the back of my tongue. REMEMBER: 50mg "ReVia" Naltrexone Tablets can be purchased abroad legally or one could try to convince their GP they need some to break an addiction. The Tablet itself is 16% Naltrexone and 84% Filler. Hand held Pill Pulverizers are sold in all Drug Stores. 19mg of the Powder contains 3mg of Naltrexone and 28mg of the Powder contains 4.5mg of Naltrexone. And then ask about the liquid LDN preparation. GoodShape's board was the first message board to ever have LDN discussed on it that I'm aware of.
