I tried expaining it the right way (like I am an expert.....right) but I lost him real quickly. So I told him it is like JRA, at least from what I have read. JRA ?????? There are adults who have what is called adult onset Still's disease, and there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not that is in fact an adult with JRA. Interestingly, if you take a very careful history from those adults, often you'll discover that they had an unexplained illness at the age of 2 or 3, which sounds like it might have been JRA then, and what they are having as an adult is a recurrence, not the new onset of their disease. But that is speculative - nobody has ever really been able to completely prove the answer /// Sorry lol i have never had anything even close to this when i was younger just a bout with the croup(sp)when i was about 13-14 lots of vomiting usually when i would run of overdo it.Take care. This was a doctor Lehman somethin or other from a online discussion about JRA. No. I did click on the link at the Stills site and requested them, but never did get them. One would have come in handy last night, but then again, maybe not. I listed a lot of information (Meds, dr's etc and some information about Stills) a while ago in an effort to prevent the hell they put me through the last time I was there. It didn't hurt, but I don't think it helped too much, either. At least this time the headache wasn't accompanied by the uncontrollable chills, the 105 to 106 fever and the inability to move. If it was, I would 1) still be there and 2) probably tried to kill someone. Kirk. JRA ?????? Bob will send them out and usually does, but, if it's okay with him, I will gladly send you some for now, and perhaps he can send you some more as needed....??okay Bob? Personal e-mail: 2r1@... Tricia You have seemingly given "acceptance" to the AOSD a whole lot sooner than I did. But, sad to say..I did not know what I was fighting from 1971 until 1987! Guest guest
Kirk, I know what happened when you clicked that button, it automatically sends the email to one of these addresses Ie brochures@... or foundation@... or info@... or questions@... basically all of those and any others that are sent to an @stillsdisease.org would be automatically forwarded to me. The problem was and still is that the domanin has the wrong email address for me they still have my old one, so it doesnt get sent to anyone, And until I can get the entire website rebuilt from bottom up about 400 pages it cant get fixed. My hope is to get atleast that problem solved first and get it uploaded first then I can work on the others. Our server extensions crashed and we couldn't make any changes, well now they are fixed but they screwed up are site to where you can t get to any of the pages from the homepage, you can always do the search and it will take you to whatever page, but it's not good for any newbies. But Bob will send you some brochures. I also suggest taking the short research paper by Dr. Cush, and one or two of the new ones off the research page, if you are taking them to doctors, they may prefer the technical points and they may be more helpful. To get to those articles go here http://www.stillsdisease.org/stills_research.htm if it doesn work try still's

Guest guest
Kirk. Guest guest
Tricia, How did you keep your sanity???? I would have lost it without a doubt. Knowing what this is..... is hard enough. Not knowing has/had to be hell on earth. Tricia You have seemingly given "acceptance" to the AOSD a whole lot sooner than I did. But, sad to say..I did not know what I was fighting from 1971 until 1987! Very darned frustrating!!
Guest guest
Hey Kirk, Who says I have kept it? (my sanity..) lol... It *was*/has been a lot easier coping knowing what I was fighting. Still a battle, but there's just "something" about knowing what one is battling that makes it easier in some respects. Wisconsin, Tricia -- Re: JRA ?????? Tricia, How did you keep your sanity????
