Guest guest
I didnt think that was true about the enbrel through IV. I have tried all avenues to try and get this enbrel and so has my doctor. It's looking hopeless. I'm really not looking forward to doing the remicade. I'd rather do the injections. I'm used to them now. I will mention about the own room thing. Thanks for that info. I will let you know when this all starts. I'm still taking the enbrel for now. I just went and bought two weeks worth through my pharmacy...$592.00....Because I''m waiting on my doctor to see if I'm approved through one last pharmacy company. Guest guest
Hi! No the enbrel has not done anything for me yet. That's why at this point I am willing to go with the remicade. The doc has told me though..the enbrel really won't kick in until about the third month of use. I am going to take your advice and write a letter to my state officials. Take care! Guest guest
I had the "weird" skin on my elbows and forearms for a bit over a week. It hurt like hell and looked even worse, but went away. I was thinking psoriasis also, but it was gone before I was able to see my doctors. Re: Carmen My medical insurance will pay for the Remicade because it is considered a medical procedure, since its administered through IV in the hosptial. As far as the Enbrel... My pharmacy plan is totally different from my medical insurance. So thats why I would be able to get the Remicade. Yes, one of my mother's friends told me I should write a letter to Sweeny, my state Rep. I'm like at wits end here. I just need some relief. And all this comotion with the insurance company is making me worse.Lately I haven't even wanted to get out of bed. My wrists are really getting bad. Especially my left. The pain is so bad. I just need some relief. I'm taking all these meds and nothing is helping me with the pain. I'm still getting this rash constantly. And lately it has been traveling to my face, around my eyes. Everyday I wake up to a new pain some where new. Does anyone have any trouble with psoriasis? I think I'm starting with this. I have this weird dry skin on my knees and on my toes. I know that sounds gross. But I'm wondering if that's what it is. I go the docs on monday.Carey Visit the Still's Disease Message Boardhttp://disc.server.com/Indices/148599.htmlThe materials and information contained in this message are not intended to replace the services of a trained health professional or to be a substitute for medical advice of physicians and/or other health care professionals.
