Guest guest
You gals are such an inspiration! I have been so busy lately I haven't gotten a chance to reply to near as many posts as I would like to. I read a lot though, and I LOVE reading about all the work outs, life events, etc. Keeps me feeling inspired to work out so I can come back here and post my little addition to the list. I didn't do anything revolutionary this morning work out wise. I'm sore and tired from late night adventures. My Jersey heifer calved at around 1am last night. Gave us a gorgeous bull calf (half Jersey, half Semmintal... should make an awesome beef steer). Between getting him up, dried off, nursing well and making sure my cow was taken care of it was after 3am before I got to sleep. Woke up a couple times to check on the pair, then got up about 7:30 this morning as usual. Momma and baby are doing great. It was her first calf as well as my first calf. Now I just have to train her to be a milk cow! Woo-hoo!! Anyway, I did a hi-impact Austin segment (more like combo stuff... weights with cardio segments, not real hi-impact at all but I wanted some weight work) and my good old stand by Kathy add-on routine for 40 min. of cardio, plus I stretched good before and after cause I am SORE from holding that darn calf up last night till he could stand and nurse on his own! I think I'm going to take a nap later if the kids will let me.
