Guest guest
I have also been recently told I have high levels of mercury when I had a hair analysis done. I was given a DMPS chelation injection and I am also doing a number of other things myself to help break it down like clay baths, chlorella, various supplements etc. I have no amalgam fillings and not a big fish eater so I am wondering how I got it in the first place and if it caused my MS. I have been on LDN for 15 months now and although it has helped me significantly, I have still had 3 relapses in the last year. I can't help wondering if I detox for quite a while and break down the mercury will it greatly affect the course of my MS and help me get rid of my walker? I'm sure it will help, but time will tell how much. I'm doing as much as I can, I don't know what else to do. Dealing with mercury is important. I was 121 when first tested last year. I believe 50 is considered "toxic" on this scale. In my case my reading led me to removal of mercury fillings by a biological dentist and IV chelation with DMPS. Mercury removal of any kind can be very dangerous as drilling fillings increases chances for absorbption and chleation (IV or otherwise) can overwhelm your elimination related organs. Alpha Lipoic Acid taken without careful attention to liver and kindneys can simply move mercury around without achieving elimination. Guest guest
Environmental exposure. Mercury was used in quite a number of industrial applications for a very long time. Everything from mining to plastics to paint to cooking to immunizations. Just for a couple of examples. It did not have to come through fillings. Mercury is also cumulative. Your body will not naturally flush it out. It will lodge in fat and bones and just remain. Your body has some natural ability to slough it off, but very, very limited. If you are someone who has less of that ability than others, then even a very remote amount of exposure could add up to more buildup in you. Really hard to say where it comes from. Can be made to go away with a number of natural products from at least a dozen companies. Just plug “mercury” and “chleate” into your search engine and away you go. Or go to your favorite vitamin seller and ask for recommendations. Guest guest
how can that be? can you please give me a website on that? thank you so much, kathy [low dose naltrexone] Re: O.T. mercury poisoning - caution about advice! i agree with this warning. i earlier posted about low Glutathione and its relation to increased mercury levels.but you have to be very careful if you try to rebuild Glutathione when you have high mecury levels because cysteine - which is one of the precursors to glutathione - can also move mercury into places where you don't want it....like the brain.thanksbill> After reading through some of the responses to your post I must urge> caution.
