Guest guest Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 I was all set to do Super Cardio Mix today but Miriam was really sick for about 6 hours yesterday (DH and I think she was just really overtired from a few late nights in a row) and while I was pretty sure she was okay for school this morning I wasn't 100% positive so I drove her in to make sure and that set me back more than a half hour which meant I didn't have time for a long workout like Super Cardio would have been (plus abs were on the schedule too and I definitely couldn't add that in too) so I did Super Cardio Sculpt again. It is a 40 minute workout, plus I did day 1 of 5 Day Abs. I got a lot more out of Super Cardio Sculpt this time, mostly because I had my handy fanny lifter (you are so awesome, Sara!) so no down time making equipment changes. I still have some parts to work on getting the sequencing down. Well, a lot actually, but it wasn't frustrating because I really do feel like I can get it soon, unlike some other cardio workouts, and I was still getting a lot out of it in my own way. My only problem with this workout today was that my VCR decided it liked this tape a lot too and chowed on it. I rescued it but am not sure how well it will work, I think this is the 2nd time that's happened, so I'm looking for it on DVD, cheap. I still don't like Day 1 of 5 Day Abs though. It is led by Janet Gretzky and I think some of it moves much too quickly for me to get anything out of it plus she looks and sounds like a hooker on it (sorry Wayne, but she does). Some of it is challenging though so I don't hate it. I think I figured out part of my problem with too. It is the gray shorts he's wearing. They just don't flatter him at all. I'm not sure what he should be wearing (I hear Donna saying "Nothing!") instead but those just do not work for me (the color more than anything else I think). Anyway, it was a shorter but still decent overall workout, especially because of getting more out of Super Cardio Sculpt. I'll do Super Cardio Mix for a cardio day next week I hope. Vol. 1 Body Sculpting Basics, which I just acquired from Kassia (thank you Kassia!) is on the agenda tomorrow. Miriam ended up being absolutely fine all day and is her impish self tonight so I'm not anticipating anything getting in the way of my doing this 60 minute workout in the morning.
