Guest guest
Excellent advice - I would do the same thing. My son was (and still is at age 17) excellent at repeating things he hears but it is usually totally out of context. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not! I've had to explain comments more than once and there is nothing better than the truth! trish Re:How would you handle this situation? I would explain to the mother of the other child that is not how you have raised your son, and that word is never used in your home. Most likely, he heard it from another child and repeated it. That doesn't make it right, but it happens because kids learn from their peers. I would also have your son apologize to that other child with both mothers present. It may also be a good idea to ask the teacher if she has heard anything similar from your son or other students. __________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
