How " timely " they are will depend on how well Yahoo is functioning and how well your personal email service is functioning. Also...sometimes...the post can get out of order. Some folks choose to receive Daily Digest...which means you will get a group of post in one email. This creates less traffic in your email box. I choose to just read the post " online " . I go directly to http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DS_Friends_Keshishian/ and read the post. For me it is less complicated to read. Then as a back up I get a Daily Digest that usually I just delete. This group isn't set up for CHAT. We just post and folks respond at their leisure...but nothing is Instantaneous. When you are reading directly from the website you will notice a little happy-face by the names on the right-hand side of the page. If the happy-face is yellow then the member is currently online and it is possible to IM them. Hope this is helpful.
