MMMMMmmmmm!

I make a salad of peeled sliced cucumbers and peeled sliced red onion

the ratio is 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar enough to cover all the

cucumber and onion along with about 6 to 10 packets of splenda and salt

and pepper to taste. Let it marinate in the fridge overnight. And

enjoy. It is a great marinade for beans as in a 3 bean salad too.

Another tip if you like tomato soup but find it bland add a dash of red

wine vinegar to perk it up. When I have a craving and do not know what

is is for I do a shot of balsamic vinegar, YUM!

Also, sweet pickles are sour and dill pickles are sweet, go figure

help with cravings

There are no sweet pickles as we know them here in England. Sigh. On

the ship last night they had cranberry sauce. My mouth is watering

with the memory...

Marta

not desparate enough to try their pickled onions-yet!
