Guest guest
Marla, all I know about the calcium infusions is that during my last operation they gave me one. Of course I was not able to take any calcium pills at that time and I have no idea of how much they gave me. That was also when I got two blood transfusions and lots of potassiums infusions (those hurt sometimes) and I don't know what all kinds of infusions. Of course as I said, I was not able to take my supplements and I was quite ill, as you well know, as you were in contact with me. I know when Dee was so ill after she had not taken her calcium that doc gave her calcium infusions to save her life. She has told of about that. The amount of calcium that goes in that way goes directly to our systems, as I understand it, and therefor our bodies can take in more than if it is in pill form. Especially if our bodies need it. I don't know about the people that take a lot. I think they just take like 500 mg. every couple of hours to get in the massive doses. I don't understand how our bodies can just take 500 mg out of a 1000 mg. tablet though and pass the rest through. Haven't quite convinced me on that one. Of course our bodies do a lot of weird stuff that doesn't make sense to me. For instance, I am sitting here trying to close my hands, and there is no logical reason that I can't, yet my body won't let them close. Makes me mad as all get out, like that helps, but there is no reason for them not to work. I have done so much therapy and they still won't work. Not having use of my hands is so frustrating so much of the time. Okay, I am off subject again. I am going back to bed again. Pearl **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers.
