Guest guest
When I called Skips, the person I talked to said there isn't any price breaks when you get more than one month supply at a time. Which is right? I was quoted $17 and some change for 30 day supply of 4.5mgs. I want the price break. Why do they tell us different prices? I wish I could use Skip's but I'm allergic to Avicel he uses as a filler. I pay $45 for 30 of the 4.5mg capsules. I stay with my compounding pharmacy because my pharmacist studies the LDN website. I get great quality LDN from them so I will put up with the higher price.
Guest guest
I think they meant instead of $17 and change per script, it's $10 each for three, $30 which is saving $21 and I need that. Whoever posted, let us know if there is a price break when ordering more that one month of LDN from Skips. Guest guest
You pay for each pill, Period. 3.0s are a bit over .32 per, and 1.5s are a bit over .20 per If you order one month, shipped, it's the cost of the quantity of pills, plus 4.50 shipping/handling. If you have a script for 2 months worth, or more (some neuros will let skip fill a few months at a time), then you pay for the cost of the quantity of pills, Plus 4.50 shipping/handling. If you get one month, you pay 4.50 per month (per shipping) If you get two months, you pay 4.50 per order for shipping, so each month's shipping is only 2.25 That's the only 'price break' there is, which isn't a "price break", you're only saving because you're getting 6 shipping/handlings per year, instead of 12. If you get a 90 days supply, you're only paying 1.50 Per Month for shipping/handling It's like ordering anything.. the more you cram into one order, the more you 'save' on shipping/handling [low dose naltrexone] Re: Skip's and LDN I think they meant instead of $17 and change per script, it's $10 each for three, $30 which is saving $21 and I need that. Guest guest
Ok well here in Canada it seems to be a little more expensive but I will do it as I have a great pharmasist and they have looked into LDN alot to make sure that I am getting what I need but I pay $196 approx... for 100 caps. Guest guest
I just received a 3 month supply of 4.5 from Skip's today and my invoice was $54.71, with $ 4.50 for shipping....so $50.21 for the scrip. Why such variations in price? I could use the break too! -- [low dose naltrexone] Re: Skip's and LDN I think they meant instead of $17 and change per script, it's $10 each for three, $30 which is saving $21 and I need that. Guest guest
At least the cost of a prescript is less then $17.00 per month I think that is a great price. Hell one of the med's that I'm on cost me over $50.00 per month { CO PAY yet } and all that I am getting from that is giddyness, happy pills, so I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Guest guest
Hi , LDN is a prescription. In the US, England and Canada you need to have a doctor prescribe it for you. If you go to the web site for LDN, you will see a list of compounding pharmacies that are recommended by Dr. Bihari for obtaining LDN. http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ They are all located in the US. Does anyone know of other chatters that are located in Switzerland that can talk to? Let us know how it goes Kind regards Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Re: Skip's and LDN >> >> I think they meant instead of $17 and change per script, it's $10 >> each for three, $30 which is saving $21 and I need that.
