Guest guest
Hello Maureen: Today is 2 weeks since my surgery, and I still have that shoulder and neck pain. It is not constant, but it is still there. I understand that can stick around for a few weeks from all the air they pump into your body. You are a little more daring than I am. I am only trying one item at a time. Yesterday was the mashed potatoes. If I tried both the potatoes and the beans, I would not know which one caused the problems. Also, remember that beans are an items that usually cause gas, so I will avoid them for now. The lifting, I believe, is really important!!! I am really glad that your hubby will be home. My insisions are all in the chest area except the one at my waist on my right side. None are in my abdomen. I notice, however, when I lift my legs to get into bed, the pull on 3 of the incisions is pretty intense. I can only imagine how much additional pressure lifting might put on that area. If there is any way you can get help, personally, I would really try. If you do damage, you may have to take more time off than just one additional week. You have come SO far, it woud be a shame to hurt yourself. I must admit ... I AM A VERY CAUTIOUS PERSON! ... so alot of people may disagree with me. I am going back to work on Monday April 4. I am a travel consultant and work from my home (my main office is taking care of my clients for now). My problem is the double vision ... and believe me, working on a computer and double vision do not go together. I am seriously thinking about a patch for one eye! It does seem to be improving, but I am glad I do not have to work on it today! It is interesting about the " raspy voice " . That has been my other problem. My voice keeps changing and it sounds like I have a bad cold or sore throat, but I do not. Good Luck, Maureen. Sounds like you are well on the way to LIFE! Guest guest
Dear Kathie, Thank-you very much for your extensive letter. It was very comprehensive and educational. I too have not gone the conventional route. I've had mom on supps in addition to 300 mg CoEnzyme 10 and 3 doses of 50mg B6. I wish to know from Dr. Bihari if there is a list of LDN prescribing MD's either in Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington. I live in Portland and am within 15 miles of the Washington state and Oregon border. Is there an address or way to communicate with Dr. Bihari? You've already been very generous with your helpfulness and time. Thank you Kathie. In Much Appreciation, Best Wishes, Terry A.
