Guest guest
Dear Kathie, I keep searching the mail for any info related to LDN and Parkinson. You mentioned your husband and I was not able to determine whether you ascribe to him taking LDN for his Parkinsons. If so, could you expand on your experience, dosage, doctor, length of time, and whatever. My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's last summer. She is 76 and I am looking everywhere for any possible treatments. Thanks for your time and info. Sincerely, Terry A.
Guest guest
Hi Terry .. I cover my uncle with PD experience on LDN in my book but this is the bottom line .. Dr B has 10 PD patients and all are stable some with more improvements than others .. again falling into that responder theory .. my uncle will be three years on LDN come september. He is Dr B's 4th PD patient. He is on 4.5mg from irmats and lives in Donegal, Ireland. ALl the Best > Dear Kathie, > I keep searching the mail for any info related to LDN and Parkinson. Guest guest
Hi Terry, Kathie's my mother with Parkinson's is using the "push" drug glutathione. It is expensive and had required getting shots/transfusions every day for a while. Now she just has them once a week or so. This med has turned her almost completely around. She no longer stares into space for a moment before answering questions, she no longer takes tiny steps when she walks, she not longer speaks in a tiny whisper, her hand writing is back to normal and she is driving again. My mom still has one arm that shakes lightly when she gets nervous about something, but otherwise you would not know she has Parkinson's. She can afford this expensive drug, so it is not a problem for her. The doctor also suggests it for MS, but my husband has been doing great on LDN for this condition, so - so far we are staying with LDN. Personally I would try LDN first, get her on a d-tox diet (my mother doctor did this with her), then get all of the essential oils, vitamins and minerals that are recommended and begin on LDN (which is much cheaper and easier to take). Keep a journal and see how things change or not. If you need further info on what my mom is taking, I can give you her doctors number. He is located in Monterey California. Just let me know Aletha Aletha@... ---- Original Message ----- From: Tora48@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Sunday, June 12, 2005 9:30 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Question for Kathie Dear Kathie,I keep searching the mail for any info related to LDN and Parkinson. Guest guest
Opps, I did not mean to say that "Kathie's my mother" I meant to say that "my mother" is using the "push" drug .... I should read what I write before sending it out. My mother's name is Margie.
