Guest guest
Contact the Canadian Lyme Association. Google it...Im not sure what their email address is. They might be able to help you. I live in Alberta and the only truly lyme literate doctor in Western Can. seems to be Dr. Murakami in Hope, BC. I've talked with him on the phone and he told me what blood tests to have my doc. do on me and then to have her call him with the results. He was very helpful and kind. His info is on the Can. Lyme Assoc. web site. He may be able to get you in touch with someone near you. Guest guest
I had blood drawn on my Dr.s orders for just that reason two weeks ago and got a negative result back in only two days ! ( I specified the western blot test.) Supposedly from the U.of A. I live sixty miles away too. OK call me pessamistic but I believe this is a false negative, as when have you ever seen any true results come back that fast. Lets see now gave my blood at 11:45tues. and heard back from the clinic 2.30 thurs. I spent a lot of years in business and for results to tests like that to come back in record time has me thinking that this was fudged. So do we do tests here in Canada well I really can't say. Guest guest
I don't seen that as unusual at all, that the results were available that quickly. A pathologist can tell during a surgical procedure if a tumor is benign or malignant...right in the operating room while the patient is still anesthetized. Things move more quickly these days. Think POSITIVELY....!!!! Even in this remote part of Montana a Western Blot test result can be had within 24 hours of the blood draw.
