XKO Kickboxing / Stott Pilates: Basic Pilates

Tonite Tressia came over so I chose the next level of kickboxing for her and went with XKO Kickboxing with Larry Lam.  I've reviewed this one before, but in short this is a nice, simple drill workout.  I wish Larry did more videos (or maybe he did and I'm just not aware of them) because he has good energy.  He doesn't mirror his cueing for the video but it's a flimed live class so he was cueing for his participants. I would place this at upper beginner/lower intermediate.  It's definitley a keeper, and it could be adapted to a bag workout.

Next we did Stott Pilates: Basic Pilates.  This is one I got at Ross ages ago but until tonite it was a virgin.  Moira spends a good deal of time going over posture and breathing and it took awhile to get to the exercises, but the ones she did were aptly chosen - the usual 100, rollups, rolling like a ball, leg circles, etc.  I liked it but will probably put it in the discard pile because there's nothing new in it that I haven't seen already and I find other instructors to be more dynamic and engaging.
