Guest guest
, I never heard of LDN causing headaches or nausea. I don't think it's your 3.0 dose, either. Please wait to hear from a LDN expert. Don't give up yet! Best Regards,
Guest guest
Hi long time no talk to, That is definetly not a normal reaction. I have only read of two or three others that have had adverse reactions that even come close. Could this be just coincedence and you are coming down with something?Or could the compounder have put too much in the capsule? This sounds like me when I tryed taking over 6.0 mgs once just to see what it would be like, I had forgot but it was hell. Personally I would take a day or two off and try again at 1.5,mgs only and then try it for a week or so if no adverse reactions occur then jump up to 3.0mgs. Oh congrats on perservering and getting a prescription. Reg. -- [low dose naltrexone] Started LDN bad headache and nausea After trying to get a prescription for LDN for nearly six months Iwas finally successful and picked up 100 1.5 mg pills with lactose filler on Monday night.I took 3mg on Monday night and woke up the next morning with a very bad headache and nausea which lasted almost all day. Last night I took just 1.5mg but still woke up feeling the same this morning. I took the pills at midnight.I had been on Rebif for eight months but went off it at the end of March. I had felt much better since going off of it but could see myMS symptoms worsening (mostly spasticity in my right leg and extreme fatigue).I have always been prone to nausea. When I was pregnant my "morning sickness" did not subside until my eighth month. For supplements I take calcium/vitamin D/vitamin B12 and 1200 mg of alpha lipoic acid a day.Any suggestions or is this a normal reaction?I really want the LDN to work. My neuro wanted me to go on the chemo mitoxantrone which I am not too excited about!!Thank you for your support.BC Canada
Guest guest
, I'm hoping you are not lactose intolerant but you very well could be, I had the same reaction you're having when I decided to experiment several months into LDN use and switched from lactose to avicel filler. I was doing great with lactose but wanted to try avicel so I could use Skip's pharmacy. With avicel I had headache and nausea. Try using only 1.5mg for 1 to 2 weeks and see what happens and if symptoms persist, have the pharmacy switch your filler to Acidophilus.
