I still take Copaxone and my LDN every day. It is the AB & R which are not to be used with LDN.

Are the ABC's normally discontinued while taking LDN?What is recommended by the experts? I have talked my Neuro into letting me try LDN for 3 months.

I have had MS for 38 years and I am 53 yrs. old.

I tried Avonex when it first came out for 2 yrs. and didn't like the

flu like symptoms for 3 days a week for 2 yrs. so Neuro switched me

to

Copaxone. I have been on the Copaxone for 5 years.

What is the normal protocol (if that is the proper term) for the MS

ABC's and LDN? Are the ABC's normally discontinued while taking LDN?

What is recommended by the experts? A pharmacist told me that I

should

stop taking the Copaxone while on LDN and my NEURO said to keep

taking

the Copaxone. BTW, he really doesn't believe in LDN, thinks it's

benign and after 3 months any improvements that might of occurred

(sp?) disappear.

Can someone give me some educated advice on this subject?

My first shipment of LDN is being sent to me tomorrow.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

is right. The interferons are incompatible with LDN but

Copaxone can be taken with it. I also use both LDN and Copaxone, though

I'm looking toward getting off of the Copaxone because I'm sick to death

of giving myself shots. I stick needles into other people as a part of my

job, but sticking them in my own body is quite another

matter.....

Carol,

First thing is you never did say how you were doing on

the Copaxone.

Either way, I would stop taking the Copaxone when you

start the LDN.

Knowing how doctors are, if by chance you would really

start feeling good, the doctor would just credit the

Copaxone if you were stll taking it with the LDN.

I have done avonex and copaxone, never did good on them,

side affects. Won't even think of doing the others.

Been on LDN since last October.

Haven't seen the dramactics others

have, but feeling better compared to when i was on A & C.

It is OK to keep taking Copaxone along with the LDN. That is the only MS

med that is compatible with LDN.
