Guest guest
Well now, that is what many MS'res deal with. People do go into remission and that is hard to argue. For my husband we know what LDN has done because it was so immediate. The day after he started LDN was the first day in 3 months that he had enough energy to stay at work all day. Other things were immediate too. I think that is just too much of a coincidence to say it just went into remission right away. People are so skeptical, and that is actually good, because you don't want them to try everything that comes along gullibly. My best Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Dealing with doubt… Hi All, Something I’ve encountered lately is people saying that MS can “get better” on its own so when I explain how I have gotten better (significantly) on LDN they don’t believe it’s LDN but instead my MS just “got better” on its own. How do I make the point that I really think it was LDN and not my MS just “getting better”? MobileTake with you! Check email on your mobile phone. Guest guest
That is very true Vali. Lack of progression is the greatest possibility that LDN gives most of us. It seems though that the CRAB meds do not necessarily help with lack of progression and most people take them for symptom relief. I think even just for the sake of symptom relief LDN still runs ahead of the CRAB drugs. And then there is always the minimal amount of side effects from LDN as opposed to the CRAB's. Most of the hard sell that I do with LDN to MSR's and to people with other ailments that can be helped with LDN, is to state that it does not hurt to try it, and it has so much better response in patients than the medically accepted drugs. If someone gets symptom relief from the CRAB meds, do you think that people would question whether they were working? I really don't think a majority of people would think otherwise. The real problem with believing that LDN is responsible for all it does, is that it is not accepted by the traditional medical community and people are worried about it being snake oil.
