Guest guest
Hi , I had the burning in my left thigh for a year before I found the Wellbutrin. In 1 week I noticed the burning was gone. I hope it works for any one who tries it. Hope all is well, Kathy__________________________________________________

Guest guest
Oh, yes. I think you'll find many of us with those types of symptoms. I'm not on Biologics(yet) but taking MTX and Prednisone. When I'm in a flare, my feet and knees are often the first to start complaining. Sometimes it feels like I'm walking on a bed of golf balls. I guess, the question is, how long have you been on Embrel and do the symptoms always happen after taking the shot? If this is your first shot of Embrel, from what I've heard it may be a few weeks before you start getting the benefit. Are you also taking Prednisone or a DMARD (MTX?). Just some thoughts, but I'm pretty new at all this and still learning by experience. Hope you're feeling better soon. Guest guest
This is the same pain as people with crps have. Have you investigated that? Jolene In a message dated 10/13/2008 7:16:33 P.M. Guest guest
Shirley, No I wish I did know what caused the burning, I take 8 mtx a week and the enbrel shot once a week, On folic acid, predisone plus my pain killers. The Enbrel shots seem to work pretty good most of the Time. I have never really had a problem with it not Working been on it for 5 months now. The only Problem I have is sometimes they misfire and won't Go off, I use the pen which I think is better than the Injection, because you don't have to see the needle. -- Re: [ ] Re: Burning hi lisa, yes i have burning sensation in my feet as well. i don't know what causes this. do u? i also take mtx but pills(7) every friday. does enberl work for u? some people have full on faith on it. let me know? god bless, melyndagamez 10/13/08 9:22p.m.cdt [ ] Re: Burning , About two years ago my feet started buring so badly that I could not stand for them to touch the bed at night or even for sheets to touch them. Guest guest
Usually, that sort of " burning " is related to RA and is called " peripheral neuropathy. Guest guest
, I use the pens also. I have only had 5 shots but so far, no misfires. I am not a fan of needles either. I was injecting in my tummy, but the rash was staying over a week at each location. Last week I switched to my leg and it seems to be better so far. Thank goodness I can switch around. I plan to ask my rheummy about the burning and Peripheral Neuropathy when I go back on the 30th of this month. (Thanks, .) Guest guest
, I would contact your doctor. I have neuropathy pain that causes burning in my left leg, along with, swelling, pain, and numbness. I take Neurontin for it, and it controls it quite a bit. Not sure whats going on with you, let your doctor know. You might be having another problem, it might not be the RA. Guest guest
I also have neuropathy in one leg. A burning sensation is one of the key symptoms and one I hate more than the pain. I also take Neurontin. I would certainly suggest seeing a neurologist.
