Guest guest
it is funny you asked that question as I am a huge fan of starbucks lattes. it is my vice. one cup of coffee is actually good for you as it helps you cleanse the colon. caffeine can deplete minerals, cause adrenal exhaustion, create acidity but in moderation it is fine. The big thing for me is taking 1000mg of magnesium or more because coffee depletes that and it is terrible for ms. symptoms of a mag deficiency are bright lights bother you, loud noices irregular heartbeat, restless leg, etc. mag is so so important for ms. I wouldn't worry about your one cup of coffee and the B vitamins. just enjoy that coffee. I drink two cups a day and if I'm bad- 3. when did you receive your newsletter for summer? I haven't gotten mine yet. I so look forward to them. Kathy [low dose naltrexone] Caffeine & B Vits Hi Kathy--I'm a coffee drinker, but only 1 cup per day. Have heard that caffeine destroys B vitamins. I never take my supplements when drinking coffee. Always take them at least 1-2 hrs after coffee. Do you know if the caffeine is still active and destroying the B vitamins? __________________________________________________

Guest guest
just remembering something my dad taught me years ago. he was a professor and held three doctorates and i haven't found anything that he ever said to be wrong. he was a big tea and coffee drinker and would take trips all over the world and bring back different teas and coffees. he said, and i've looked into it to confirm this, that caffeine is contained in the oils of coffee. if you wait a minute or so after pouring the coffee and then remove the top 1/8th of an inch with a spoon, you will get rid of 95% of the caffeine. clouds in your coffee means caffeine lol.
