Guest guest
Hi gang, It's been several(four)months since I have been on 4.4 LDN and have experienced better bladder control, but no other noticeable symptoms benefits. Anyway, my primary care physician who would not write my LDN prescription called me in for a check up a couple of weeks ago. Upon a routine heart/ blood pressure check, she became very alarmed. My pulse was 40 beats per minute, and the blood pressure was frightening. She referred me to a heart specialist who I saw last week, after (on my own) discontinuing my LDN. When the heart people did their " Echo " , my pulse was at 80 and BP was fine. No problems. I resumed nightly LDN and until I cracked some ribs, yesterday, I haven't worried about it. At emergency this morning, my heart rate was at 30 beats per minute and the machine alarms went off. The staff was much more concerned about my heart than my injured ribs. While none of my physicians have suggested a correlation might exist between LDN and heart rate in my situation (my MD/ND who prescribed LDN said there would be none when asked after the last alert), I can not account for any other change in my life which might be the culprit. I do take a major vitamin complex and cod liver oil purchased at my MD/ND’s own clinic. I take no other prescribed drugs except LDN. As far as chest pain or cardiac discomfort, I have none. My question is, " Has anyone else in this group experienced cardiac abnormalities which have been found to be related to LDN utilization? " I must see my primary care physician Friday afternoon for a follow-up, as directed by the emergency room Doctors, after finally x-raying my ribs and doing an EKG. Sorry I made this so long, but didn’t want to stimulate a lot of questions about blood pressures (which I don’t remember), or “Are you taking…†type questions. Oh yes, I do take Excedrin PM for food allergy migraines, which I have been getting lately (SOY). As I am experiencing one now, I’ll post this and await any answer posts. Thanks for your input. Please do not take offense if I don’t reply to your other questions or thank you individually for your thoughts and comments as I am not really feeling good enough to even be on-line but briefly.
