Guest guest
> Does anyone know if anyone has gotten contractures because the LDN caused such stiffness. I walk with a walker some but am on a scooter for most of my ADLs. My knees are trying to stay bent, I have a duck butt when I stand now and I can't seem to get straightened out when I do stand up. I wonder if I should stop the LDN before I get hopelessly contracted and can't do anything for my self. It does hamper me alot. > > How long do you stay at a certain dose before you try a different one, up or down? I just finished about 4 weeks of 3mg and when I got so stiff I stopped taking it for 3 nights and started with 1.5mg. Seems I got stiffer on the 1.5. Should I go up to the 4.5mg or stay with 1.5 for a couple of weeks? > > This is a little frustrating! Increase to 4.5mg for 3 days if you can stand it and then drop to 3.0mg. If you have no problem with 4.5mg then stay there. Get the milk thistle before you do the trial. Deb +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Deb, My opinion: It's not LDN causing this. It's just the course you are taking. If you were in great shape when starting LDN and BAM! Maybe then it could be LDN, but contractures are a result of lack of use. What is ADLs? Bent knees as opposed to sticking straight out like concrete? Sounds like damned if we do, damned if we don't!! Duck butt? Sounds like your abdomen is contracting too. Maybe someone will know something to try. Exercise if possible! Marcie*
