Need some advice

Hi Everyone!

My son will be three in February, so we start meeting with our ISD

this month. I have no clue what I need to know before going into the

first meeting, and I was hoping to find that here. If I am posting

this in the wrong place, I am sorry! I am very nervous and scared as

my son is completely non-verbal, non-gesture and the speech pathologist

for the ISD has commented to me multiple times that they try to

transition the children into mainstream as quickly as possible, and for

some reason that keeps worrying me even more! There are two school

districts near us that I have heard negative things about, but I

haven't heard anything about ours (Northwest ISD). Any advice,

suggestions, etc. would be WONDERFUL!!! Thank you all again and sorry
