Guest guest
, I agree with . Either go to Skips, or Irmat in New York. They are experts with LDN. This is especially important because you are only on trial for 2 months, and you have another med to get out of your system first. You can find these pharmacy numbers on the LDN site. If you have problems let me know. Thanks Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Re: My LDN quest > Mitzi: > > If Kaiser has no experience compounding LDN, then go to a pharmacy > that does--don't monkey around with the liquid if you can avoid it. > Try Skip's Pharmacy in Florida--a 1 month supply of 4.5 mg LDN is > only about $15, so you can skip your insurance company completely > (that's less than my copay would be anyway!). > > http://www.skipspharmacy.com > > Just call them up, tell them you've got a prescription, and then > they'll tell you how to fax it to them. > > Good luck! > > > > >> I want to thank everyone that has given me advice the last few > weeks >> so that I could get on LDN. Guest guest
The question was: Why not LDN in liquid form Maybe nothing at all. It just seems that many people have struggled to get the dosage right and the timing right and the filler that is used with the pills right. It seems a temperamental business this LDN, and maybe it is best to try the way it works for most people first and then after you know how it works for you, then experiment with liquid or other ways to take it. doctor is only giving her 2 months trial, she should not take any chances. By the way , I would give it a longer trial if possible. No only are we looking for reduction of symptoms, but the main thing is to stop progression, which you will not be able to track within just 2 months. My husband had an MRI just before starting LDN. Now he has follow up MRI's to see how progression/or lack of progression goes. Guest guest
As to length of tracking. I am using this for my own terminal cancer treatment as well as recommending it to other clients. Two months in the cancer business is not enough time to show anything significant unless we are working with pin-head sized tumors. If anything you have goes away that quick, it is positively wonderful. If it does not, you are normal. Six months should be a minimum to allow your body to adjust and utilize and see a benefit that is truly distinguishable. Guest guest
aletha, your answer is the same as mine plus what said about the refrigeration. otherwise, i am sure liquid ldn is just as good but you know you are getting the consistency with the capsules and for me it is convenient. , Dr. Bihari said give LDN at least 6 months and I would venture to say a full year is a fair trial. it is inexpensive and can't hurt you. sometimes our bodies are healing and we don't even know it. every 7 years each and every one of your cells have regenerated. you are a new person in a sense and with the right lifestyle there can be some very dramatic changes. kathy [low dose naltrexone] Re: My LDN quest Mitzi:If Kaiser has no experience compounding LDN, then go to a pharmacy that does--don't monkey around with the liquid if you can avoid it. Guest guest
Steve, I most surely do have cancer. My website, http://www.survivecancer.net is the history of what I was diagnosed with 6 months ago, what I have found for research about cancer and how to fight it, and what exactly I am doing for supplements, etc… I am still researching. I am still in the midst of a battle for my life. I feel great and great about what I am doing, but it’s a long way from over. The more I researched, the madder I got and ultimately developed the website you will find primarily as a cathartic. I then decided to turn it into a non-profit corporation and we provide free counseling/advice, support, etc… to anyone who asks. I am now looking for practitioners to refer people to anywhere in the world. I just added a page for practitioners. Cancer is one of those things that needs to be dealt with one on one, face to face, not over the internet, although 98% of what I learned was on my own. I just am really, really good at research. That is what people paid me to do as a consulting engineer and manager over the years. Now I turned myself into a giant research project and off I went. What can I do for you?
