I am a fairly quiet member of this group.  I have 4 kids 18 (AS), Toby 14 ( " typical " ), -Wesley 11 (AS, BP, ADHD), 8(ADHD)

I am in a situation where I need the income of working but I really NEED to be home with/for my children.  I have started having problems with the school and have been missing work more and more.  I am fortunate to have a job that understands my absence but that won't be the case forever.  I was told by a friend that I needed to apply for disability and medicaid for my kids on the spectrum but I don't know even where to start with that.

Is there anyone who can give me any information about this?
