Does any one know which wormer is safe for sheep whose milk will be for human

consumption?

Is there a difference between Ivomec and Privermectin? They both show 0.08%

soluction of ivermectin. IVOMEC says not safe for human consumption due to no

testing on residuals in milk. Not mentioned in specs for Privermectin... HELP!!

I want to start making yogurt from my milk....need to worm the ewes...they've

been with the ram since 11/27.

One lambed 1/5 but I lost the lamb and left ewe with the ram to try to rebreed

her.... I have been milking her out and saving the milk... these ewes have not

been wormed as long as I have had them (Sept 3, 2009)... I am a newbie to

shepherding....

Maybe I don't worm lactating ewes until after they are dry.....????

Thanks for your advice - Darla in MO
