EPIC currently provideshelp only to those over age 65, leaving younger disabled people withsignificant prescription drug needs to fend for themselves. NYFAHCthinks that this is unlawful and we are preparing to take the state tocourt to open EPIC to people with disabilities.Here is some more information about who would be a good plaintiff:* Receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and notreceiving benefits from Medicaid.* Less than $35,000 if you are single or $50,000 if you aremarried in total income.* You are having trouble paying for your prescription drugs andare willing to publicly talk about your plight. You will need to sharepersonal information abut your situation, including your income, medicalcondition.
