Guest guest
Marcie, I think it was the LDN as at the first when I took 2 days off the LDN my muscle tone returned to normal. Then I kept on the LDN in spite of the stiffness at 3mg and the pain and stiffness increased. I wouldn't say I was in great shape but could walk okay with a walker and could climb steps and climb up in my van. The stiffness is making it so that I don't feel safe going out on my own. ADLs are activities of daily living. Ihave been standing and walking some every day and have never had the tightening that I have now till LDN. To look at me I am worse than I was when I started. Hopefully it will turn around. I am starting physical therapy and am doing massage. I am taking magnesium supplements and the Milk thistle. I do have little spots, mostly in the evening where I get a little loosened up and can walk pretty well with a walker and even do stairs. I ride my Theracycle most every day and that gives me good range of motion exercise. I really want this to work so I am trying hard. I am leading my doctor so what I learn here and other places on the Internet are all I know. Thanks! Deb Deb, My opinion: It's not LDN causing this. It's just the course you are taking. If you were in great shape when starting LDN and BAM! Maybe then it could be LDN, but contractures are a result of lack of use. What is ADLs? Bent knees as opposed to sticking straight out like concrete? Sounds like damned if we do, damned if we don't!! Duck butt? Sounds like your abdomen is contracting too. Maybe someone will know something to try. Exercise if possible! Marcie* __________________________________________________
