Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone ever come across this? About 2 months ago Kayla(12 years) started screaming every time she went in the shower that the water hurt her feet. This has continued. Her feet don't have any sores or marks on them. Prior to this she has never been hypersensitive on her feet. I have tried all kinds of things. I have even had her stand at the back of the tub to get her feet used to the temperature of the tub. Than slowly splayed the water on her feet. But, every time I do this she screams that the water is hurting her feet. We use a hose to take a shower, so I have adjusted the temperature and strength of the water as well. If it even touches her toes she screams. However, the water temperature is fine and even cold to her for the rest of her body. This started about the same time she began her period. Which has also been very unusual for the first time and she had it going on for over a month. We have been to two doctors about it. But, thankfully it has quit. Could her starting a period have started a reaction to have hypersensitivity to water on the feet. I put lotion on them but it doesn't bother them. I am going to try using a spray bottle on them next to see if she has a reaction. Do you have any ideas? Thanks
