Have switched from Alpha Lipoic Acid to R-Lipoic Acid

and have read on internet that R-Lipoic is 8-10 times

stronger than Alpha Lipoic and if 1200 mg Alpha Lipoic

stops loss of Myelin, Herbalist Clarembeau translates

into 2 or 3 R-Lipoic 100 mg tablets. Am buying

" Source Naturals " , 100 mg --60 tablets, 18.95

Alpha Lipoic has made my hands, fingers tingle and

returned sensory ability. Causes sprouting of neurons

according to German research at Heinrich Heine

University. Regenerate myelin with methylcobalamin

(Brain B-12) 5,000-10,000 micrograms daily, plus

Pregnenolone to return all hormones to teen level

(both male and female) PLUS fish oil capsules as

directed. NOW brand methylcobalamin ,5,000, 60

lozenges, 18.95

Pregnenolone, 50 mg, 120 tablets 14.95, NOW brand

Super EPA, 360 mg EPA 240 DHA, 60 softgels 9.95 Herb

Store (541) 994-9733 Switching to R-Lipoic recently

is exciting for its possibilities. Having bladder

control back too such a blessing! Best to

all--Shirley

After taking these supplements, how long does it generally take before one can expect to notice improvement? Are we looking at 1 - 2 weeks, or longer? I've read the posts that LDN can take considerably longer. Just as the CRABs do. (However, have tried Rebif and Copaxone...don't miss them....)kathy lintzenich <mykittypaws@...> wrote:

for the most part, supplements take longer than something like LDN to notice. they start working right away but before it results in a manifestation of reduce symptoms, there is usually time involved. that's why I tell others to take something for at least two or three months and preferable 6 in order to make a decision. there have been things like bilberry that seemed to help my vision right away. however, there is enough evidence around about lioic acid that I wouldn't be too hasty in stopping it. I think ms is a complicated condition and many things need to be used in conjunction with one another. knock on wood, it seems I have played around enough to find the right combination but conditions are ever-changing so one can never be sure of anything-just hope for the best after you've done everything you can possibly do at that given point.
