Guest guest
Jacks darling, Don't apologise, I just needed the push just wasn't expecting the kick in the ribs that came along with it. What saddens me most is that it's not a competition because the two sites are clearly different. This one is vibrant and lively, plenty of posting and activity like ozband. The Sydney Bandsters is catering for a different crowd its well; just there you know all stalagmite-ish cause apparently there is a great need for that. Guest guest
Noone blames you either Ghyll. Noone really to blame, stuff just happens. Re: your last paragraph....here here hear hear, > > , Jacqui, Mazz and anyone else who I don't know about, > > First of all I am so sorry that precious people have been caught up in the cross fire of a new site starting. This was never my intention that anyone else would get burnt. I knew I would get flack but reasoned it was better for me to be in the firing line and not to involve anyone else. > By doing this I could not be accused of bullying tactics. > > This new site was opened to give us all a place to vent and concentrate on your journeys and to share that with everyone without feeling censored, discriminated against or ignored. I was well aware that for some it would be too feely feely and intimate and they would not want this but for many it would be what they wanted. > > I have no issue whatsoever for being called the reason, the cause or the split of the old group - I just did not want anyone to feel they had to take sides because this band is not about that - if anything it should be joining us together with a common denominator. > > In life every thing that happens is for a reason and out of it comes a lesson or two. My lesson from this experience is to ensure that the group remains organic and grows with the needs of all of us on this journey and to share with love, kindness and humour this new lifestyle of ours!! > > So my Chickadees, forward and onwards - here is to our journey - may we never thirst, never hunger and god help us never block!!! > > Lots of love, > Ghyll > ~~May all your Weeds be Wildflowers ~~ > > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.362 / Virus Database: 267.12.8/164 - Release Date: 11/9/2005 >
Guest guest
Dear GhyllDon't you dare apologise for doing what you think is right! If you needed any proof that what you have done is the right thing, is what people wanted you need only think about the range and depth of wonderful posts over the last weeks that the site has been up. It is an absolute credit to you my dear. Caught in the crossfire? Well that is one of my favourite lines from a Powderfinger song. You needn't worry about how your actions have impacted because there is no issue with sides. There was always a demarcation with posters with interest and energy and they have just found a place created by the wonderful you.
