Anyone tried LDN with Colitis/Crohn's?

I am new to the group and have joined because my doctor has suggested I

try LDN. I suffer from ME/CFS and also indeterminate Ulcerative

Colitis/Crohn's disease.

I have read many good reports for the use of LDN for auto immune

disease in general but very little reference to Crohn's and nothing for

Colitis in particular.

I have read elsewhere that disease symptoms can temporarily worsen when

first starting LDN. This worries me because I am currently suffering a

relapse in my Colitis/Crohn's and I am worried about my condition

worsening because that could be very dangerous.

Over the years I have had to take an immunosuppressant drug to control

the colitis but my white blood count is now so low my bone marrow is

being suppressed so I have had to come off the drug. This is why I am

concerned about any treatment I use for fear of making things worse and

wanted to know if there was anyone else here with Colitis or Crohn's

Please note that due to drug hypersensitivity I would only start at a

very low dose, probably 1mg, and work my way up. This is what I have to

do with all drugs.

I have used the search facility as far back as I can go.
