Guest guest
Dear GhyllIt is sooo hard to make good choice when you are hungry, you tend to rush and shove something in that is easy to eat and not very wise. I rushed home this afternoon and ate a bowl of ichiban noodles, not very good at all considering my SV this morning. I usually have a little thing of cashew nuts or macadamia nuts in my bag to help take the edge of any hunger that I have but changed bags and didn't move them across etc. Can you try the small meals often approach? I found this works best for me, in some ways it is a psychological thing as I always feel like I am putting something into my mouth, you just have to be conscious that you are not putting in too much too often. I tended to have a small container with the sectioning in it; each section represented the next course. So I was always just about to start or finish something. Obviously it depends on where you are and if you are able to do this. I am sure you will be back on track, if not perhaps it is worth thinking about a fill just to take that edge off the hunger so your food choices are not so immediate. I think that is still `working with the band' because you need to have it at least allow you to be sated and remain so for a good amount of time.
