Summer of '69, SV for me *

*warning contains major gloating, appologies in advance but I was just sooo happy!Morning everyoneI was online last night, I was sure I was going to catch up but alas... anyway I will try again this afternoon to read the rest of the emails. I tell you I am so thrilled when I jump on, they are all so lovely, supportive and most of all fun! I think that is what is most important, despite the band or ourselves not going or doing the things we should but it seems to even out eventually. I jumped on the scales this morning and I was 69kg. This is a HUGE scale victory for me as it tells me since the morning of my banding in May 2004 I have lost (and gained and lost) a total of 50kg. I celebrated with a glass half a glass of white wine - big for me as I don't drink alcohol. I am heading towards that 'average' section on the BMI, something I always wanted to aim for but never thought I would see or be happy once I get there. Well there is still a bit to do, exercise is one of them. I can only think how much better I would be if I had taken up a bit of something that expends a bit more energy than breathing.
