Guest guest
Amy, I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis and some validation for what you knew already to be true. Having someone in pharmaceutical research join the group could be very informative...have you worked with any of the typical drugs used to treat Stills? Most of my complaints were met with diagnosis of depression and prescriptions of antidepressants. I am 32 years old and work in pharmaceutical research and my own knowledge of the medical field has been my saving grace. For years I have known there was something wrong with me and I refused to cooperate with a doctor I felt did not take my complaints seriously. Needless to say, I have been through a lot of physicians. I officially received the diagnosis recently and it was initially a valadation to know that yes, there is something wrong with me. It's not just in my head. My family and I are soaking up all the information we can on the disease right now. Its nice to meet everyone.
