Guest guest
Hey Lorie, Glad to hear you are doing much better. That is good news, you have suffered way too long. Take care and keep us posted. :Lynn Dearest Stills Family Hello everyone, I know it's been awhile since I posted last, but I have been lurking around and reading the posts you all sent out. My heart goes out to those of you who are down right in extreme pain and agony. I myself was in that exact same boat less then 6 months ago, but I am happy to say with a change of doctors and facilities, I have come a long way with very little pain now days. I have other medical issues though that have come up, so right now the Stills end is on the back burner and we are trying to treat some stubborn infections. I am on this new medication called Spirolactonen (sp?), it is being used for some cysts, but I also read last night that it has been used in certain forms of arthritis, my hope is that it continues to help the Stills into remission...it's a diuretic, antiandrogen that blocks some kind of a TNF receptor (hormone I think ) an! d in theory it should dry up the inflammation. Guess we'll have to wait and see until I have my next blood work in June. No narcotic pain meds needed these days, just plain Tylenol. The diabetes is horribly out of control. So, off to the pool today for the much needed exercise. I hope that with the nice weather approaching that everyone gets some relief from their pain. Longer days, mean that we have more sunlight to enjoy our gardens, parks and forests.
