Guest guest
My PCP is leaning towards the inflammation causing the headaches. They are still trying to get the inflammation down, but no such luck, yet. He also explained to me that the reason they are reluctant to prescribe me a more potent pain killer is that 1) I am eating the ones I have like candy, which is accurate, but they usually don't work & 2) everything above and beyond these is addictive. I do agree that I do not want to be addicted to a pain killer, so I will continue to try and ride this out. I still have 3 Vicodin left from my original prescription of 15 in January, and he will get me a small refill if need be. My pain usually has required something like Vicodin, but I will only take them after work and after all of my kids activities are done for the day, as I would never feel safe taking one and then driving my kids around. The bad thing about these is that when my head is really rocking, they do little to help, also. They do help the deep throbs I get from my feet, ankles, knees and legs in general, though. Have a good one, Kirk. Re: More frustration Hey Kirk.. I just had a thought..ask the doc if the headache is a form of arteritis??Arteries get inflammed..this sneaking little dragon does all kind of weird stuff..and not everyone has the exact same story...anyway..I hope the doc gets you fixed up really fast!!! Guest guest
Sorry I haven't been in touch. I went to Vegas to see my best friend perform the lead in Mamma Mia. It was great. I would like to put my special made arch supports in the dragon along wiht a " special " pair of school. Does anyone find that sometimes fasting helps control a flare? I can't have sugar even though I friggin love me some Good-n-Plenties. Could eat a 3 pound box. P.S. Kirk, I think I failed my math mid-term. I am retarded. My final will now count twice. Hope everyone is feeling great today. Love,

Guest guest
Lynn hon, You need comfort food! Lots of that at the "cyber party" tonight!! Thank you for the update info about your appointment with the new rhuemy. It sounds as if he isn't gong to just "jump the gun," and poo poo your illness. Hopefully this will be of great benefit for receiving your disability. Later, Love, Trica p.s. don't eat the brownies with the little "red flag." They are laced with "exlax" for those who are "unfortable from their pain meds. Here's your dragon again! -- Re: More frustration , I have been off sugar for over 4 weeks on the South Beach diet and my pain has been worse than ever.
