Hi Leigh,

Nice to have " energy through the roof. " Enjoy!

My menu today:

M1 Vanilla Spirutein Meal replacement shake w/ 8oz 1% milk

M2 2.5oz chic breast, 1 cp strawberries

M3 2.5 oz chic breast, bag of raw celery, baby carrots, broccoli

M4 Protein Bar

M5 1 cp 2% cottage cheese, 3.5oz peach sauce (Splenda), sprinkle of

honey roasted sliced almonds

M6 Grilled pork chop, baked acorn squash, steamed asparagus

:)

Anybody ever get a sharp pain in the..ummm..base of the spine when doing

lunges? I had to switch to straight dead lifts last night after that.

Hi folks! Happy Monday!!!! :) :) Here's my marvelous Monday menu

(a little alliteration to start your week)...

M1: 6 chocolate chip cookies

M2: 1/2 bagel, 1T natural peanut butter

(unfortunately I am not kidding about either one of these meals but

am not letting a moment of weakness ruin the rest of my BFL day, plus

they were small cookies and I know I forgot my protein in M2, it's

Monday cut me some slack, LOL)

M3: 3 oz. lean roast beast (that's " beef " for non-Grinchy folks),

salad w/LF dressing

M4: 1/2 c. cottage cheese, Yoplait NF yogurt

M5: 4 oz. Swedish meatballs made w/99% FF ground turkey, green beans,

low-carb-pasta

M6: 1 sc. protein powder, 1/2 T EFA oil, 1/2 c. strawberries

Ok this is obviously non-BFL (besides the cookies!!! I know I know)

because of the lower carbs, more like 50/30/20 ratios. Errr....I

mean it would be those ratios if I had eaten my proper meals for M1

and M2. LOL I guess I combined Monday confession with my menu

post. I promise on my autographed BFL book that I will make the rest

of the week better than it started. :)

I had a cookie problem last night, but I stopped at 4 and had a

Detour bar before it got out of hand. However, they were regular-

sized cookies. Saturday, I had lots of chocolate things at a party.

Today I am back on track though. We almost got all the bad food from

the party a couple weeks ago cleared out of the house. It should all

be gone in another week. We do have some very yummy non-BFL lasagna

and I am not about to give it away so we are going to eat it once per

week until it is gone.

It is good to see you back on the list.

Hey, I don't think I used any 5-syllable words. *scratches head in

confoozled manner* Oh yeah, " alliteration " .

Please accept my sincerest apologies. It was never my intention to

strain your brain on a Monday. LOL

ROFL!!!!!! I have a " cookie problem " every day, I just don't indulge

it every day! I am a total cookie-aholic. I could give up candy,

soda, bread, (continue with all evil carbs ad infinitum here) but I

could never EVER give up cookies for the rest of my life. *sigh*

Extra 20 minutes cardio tonight after UBW to counteract cookies-for-

breakfast today. Ok, that won't really burn them all off, but it

will make me feel better mentally. LOL

I almost always eat some cookies on free day. I love them too

especially the soft kind. Even after doing BFL for 2 years, I still

can't give up sweets. I'm a " cookie-aholic " or more generally

a " dessert-aholic " on free day.

The rest of the story with last night (not free day) is that I had

baked the cookies for a bake sale. Then we received an e-mail that

the bake sale probably wouldn't happen since someone didn't get a

permit. So we decided it try the cookies and Hugh was going to give

the rest to his coworkers.

After eating just one cookie last night, I wanted to eat them all.

I decided to try a Detour bar as an intervention and it worked. I

didn't want anymore cookies after the bar.

It turned out that the bake sale happened so it is a good thing the

cookies were not all eaten. I was told they sold like hot cakes!

Hmmm, well these were homemade toll house chocolate chip cookies.

*drool* Can't beat those with any fancy San Franciso cookie. :P

LOL

But seriously now that you have tempted me with them, you will have

to send me a link to their website. Thinking about Free Day -

honest!! *grin*
