Just got off the phone with my Social Security Lawyer. He told me absolutely to NOT file a complaint as it could totally ruin my disability case. He said that doctors will often retaliate by writing unfavorable notes in your chart if you do this. I just am so disgusted with all of this. He also told me that this particular medical group is fairly hostile about disability claims and not very supportive overall, however, since they are giving me free medical care I can't complain too much. Even thought the actual care is stressing me out, I get all my drugs for free. I am just going to have to pray for a miracle. Any help with that would be so appreciated.

Hi Lynn,

I'm new to this group , my 27yr old son is in the process of appealing for SSI for Stills.

He hasn't been able to work since October and has no income . We were told it could be 6 to 8 months until his request for an appeal appointment.

Is this what you are in the process of too ?
