Participants will learn to help a child accept a rationale for change and master skills such as stress management, problem-solving and social skills issues. This 2-day workshop will include:  Discussion and video demonstration  Role play scenarios  Hands on practice with students Who Should Attend: Clinicians, parents and teachers of children with high functioning autism “I can utilize these strategies with my students.† Michele Jessner, M.A. Michele Jessner has over 10 years of experience working in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis and developmental disabilities. She received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and her counseling services focus upon students on the autism spectrum. She is a mentor level consultant with Autism Partnership, overseeing group programs and Program Coordinators. Ms. Jessner has consulted with families and school districts throughout the United States and England and supervises treatment cases in the greater Los Angeles area.
