Guest guest
it is definitely worth it to go back to 4.5 and see if it goes away again. it could have something to do with the endorphins since production of them will alleviate or make pain disappear, elevate mood, etc. i think your body has already told you it wants 4.5 and certainly won't hurt you to increase dosage. good luck, kathy [low dose naltrexone] my LDN experience I started using LDN on March 5th of this year. I started at 4.5 mg right away, and that seemed to go very well. I still have many of the problems I had before LDN, but I have seen some improvements. On May 3rd I decided to go down to 3 mg to see if I would see any difference in the two doses. The only difference I have seen, and it may be purely coincidental (probably is, actually) is that I have had more pain since I went down to 3 mg. It's been a bunch of strange little pains that I didn't have terribly often before, which is why I'm thinking that it has nothing to do with changing my LDN dosage. I'll suddenly get a severe pain in one of my toes or the bottom of my foot or one of my arms, that sort of thing. The pain always goes away in a few minutes, but it's really intense while it lasts. My inclination is to think that these goofy pains have nothing at all to do with changing my LDN dosage because I can't see any reason why changing the dose I'm taking should make any difference. Does anyone know of any reason why I would have more pain at a lower dosage of LDN? One way or the other, I think that I should go back up to the 4.5 mg dosage since I was able to tolerate it just fine. I'm just curious about whether or not anyone sees any reason why changing my dosage would be a cause of the increased pain I've been having. Thanks,Vali
